General Assembly Meeting of the SMART BEAR project in Italy

The General Assembly of the Smart Bear project was held in Rome, Italy, from the 29th of November to the 1st of December of 2021, and counted on the presence of all the beneficiaries of the project. During the event, the activities and future tasks of the Smart Bear project were outlined. Focus was placed on the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection (SRS) pilot since it was designated as the great demonstrator of this European project (Pilot of Pilots). The activities developed in the Region to date and the conclusions resulting from all the procedures carried out during the recruitment, assessment and monitoring of the patients of the Regional Health Service participating in the project were presented.

During the meeting, additional topics were also discussed such as the correct management of data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the design of the Dashboard, the Big Data management strategy, the current status of the remaining pilot projects and the communication activities developed.
