The Smart4Health Health Days, resulting from the collaboration between the Madeira Digital Health and Wellbeing initiative and the Portuguese Foundation of Cardiology, featured several awareness-raising activities throughout the month of May. In addition to raising awareness of cardiovascular health amongst the population, the importance of the population's access to their health data through the Smart4Health digital platform and the possibility of sharing it with health professionals was also highlighted. As part of these activities, a contest was held in which participants were asked to compose a sentence containing the words "Madeira" and "Digital Health" or "Saúde Digital". Over 110 citizens visited the initiative and took part in the contest. With 96 sentences eligible for evaluation, a jury composed of representatives from SRS, SRTC, and UNINOVA was tasked with selecting the 10 most creative and original sentences. The winners were each awarded a WearOS smartwatch with the Citizen Hub application installed, enabling direct data collection to the Smart4Health platform.
